Membership Hours
2. Work Duties: Auxiliary Members of the former Postal Club Inc. and included in Exhibit A of the merger agreement between the Postal Club Inc. and Firefighters Local 37 shall have no work hour obligation. All other Auxiliary and Prospective members or spouse / mate shall be required to devote at least thirty (30) hours, including the events, on such duties as outlined by the Board of Directors. The thirty (30) hours of work duties shall be fulfilled prior to December 1st, except for Board-authorized work or programmed events. Further, any member failing to meet this obligation shall be recommended by the Board of Directors to the membership at the meeting in January for removal. The member shall be notified by the secretary and given the opportunity to address the Board of Directors and/or the membership at the regular January board and membership meetings. Members shall be notified by October 15th of their failure to meet the thirty (30) hours minimum requirement. Minimum work hours requirements for Prospective members whose applications are approved by the Board in the last three (3) months of the year shall be prorated as follows: October, 10 hours total; November, 5 hours total; December, 0 hours.
